Best place to improve your skills

Karen Ball and her team provide excellent training for dressage and jumping horses from different levels. The lessons are highly recommened because it supports your talent and possible problems or improvements will be discussed and solved on the ground as well as on the horse. Examples are shown by other riders how to improve your performance and ideas ar developed to avoid repeating mistakes. A video footage as well as riding on different horses to improve the feeling for the own horse later are essential. Unfortunately I moved, so I could not follow any longer the training with this great team. But during my stay there, I learned twice as much I have learned in other barns! Thanks a lot!

Superior Training / Friendly Environment

From beginner to advanced, every horse and/or rider in Karen Ball's European Equestrian Concepts program receives the same superior training, no matter what their aspirations. I brought my jumper to Karen to build her muscles after an injury and to better educate myself on the proper techniques of riding 4 years ago......... I never left. Superior Training in a friendly environment!

I have to say Kari I'm so proud of you. I've known you quite a while now [10+ years] and I have to say I was so proud of you when I sat with you during lessons. You seem so much more relaxed when teaching and with the new walkie/talkie things your lessons, I think, really provoke learning from your students. Not that they didn't always do that, just look at the way your students ride and have always ridden... beautifully!! But you seem to get less frustrated when trying to convey a feeling they should have or a movement they should look for. Others have always admired how fit your horses are [it's true in case you didn't know ... it's been commeneted on to me several times] and the program that they are in is one of the best. It's evident how much you care and how hard your try with everyone. The results from the Championships were so impressive and really reflect all the hard work you have put into the barn. You're the best! Okay, enough gushing! :)

Satisfied Customer

My daughters and I moved to EEC over 10 years ago because of the great reputation Karen Ball and her staff have for excellent training of both the horse and rider. Karen did a great job coaching my older daughter in dressage from lower to upper level, until she left for college. With the kids grown, I decided to take up dressage as a hobby myself and love Karen's program. Not everyone at the barn shows, but those of us who do have a great time together. We feel like a team and help to support each other. Karen pushes us to do our best in an environment where I always feel safe. She does an incredible job taking care of our horses and it shows in the health and soundness of them. I love being a part of EEC and all it stands for.

From the EEC Farrier

I have been the farrier for European Equestrian Concepts for 5 years now. It is truely an honor to be part of such a winning team! In my time @ EEC I have seen horses transformed and riders evolve into champions. Karen and her staff are awesome! In the 18 years I have been shoeing horses, I have not seen a trainging staff as knowledgeable, or talented as the EEC crew. Karen is a true perfectionist who doesn't ever settle for "good enough", The staff and I work closely to improve/maximize the soundness and performance of each horse.
